he citizens of Saugus believe it their duty to furnish at any cost its quota of three hundred thousand nine-months men. A bounty of one hundred dollars was authorized to be paid to each nine-months volunteer; and the treasurer, with the advice of the selectmen, was authorized to borrow, not exceeding ten thousand dollars.
