--Coroner Sanxay was called upon yesterday to hold an inquest over the body of Michael Leary, found lying dead at this own house, on Grace, between 17th and Union streets. Deceased's death was the result of an affray between himself and one Jno, Murray, on Thursday night of last week.
He breathed his last Sunday night. By the evidence of James McCormick, a resident of Henrico, it appeared that he arrived in the city and sought the domicil of Leary for lodgings. --While on his way thither, between 9 and 10 o'clock at night on Thursday, he met Murray, who proposed to accompany him. He did so. On their arrival they found Leary's family had retired.
Leary got up, opened the door, and invited McCormick in. For some reason, he objected to the presence of Murray, and told him he had better go home; he could not get lodgings there.
Murray insisted upon going in, and thrust himself into the house.
Leary laid hold of Murray to eject him. McCormick, after advising.

Theatrical affairs in the United States. J. S. Clarke is playing in Baltimore, and will be succeeded by Jno. Owens. Miss Maggie Mitchell, who made a financial failure in New York as manageress, is playing in Washington.
Macbeth was given at the Winter Garden, in New York, last week, with Miss Kate Bateman as Lady Macbeth J. W. Wallace, Jr., as the Thane, and Edwin Adams as Macduff.
Edwin Forrest was playing to New York last week.
Wallack's Theatre, in New York, opened on the 16th with Mr. and Mrs Jno. Sefton, Miss Fanny Morant, and Jno, Gilbert in the company.
Mrs Emma Waller is playing in New York.

--Ran off from the farm of the subscriber (Chalk Level) in Caroline county, , William, sometimes called William Fantleroy, heroizing to John T. Rice, Esq. West- county and hired from Mr. Bagby, of this city; and Emanuel, belonging to Mrs. Mary Renned, near Charlestown, Jefferson county, and hired from her, Tabo.
I will give a reward of $10 for their apprehension, delivered either to me in Richmond, or to Mr. Jno, Burruss, on the farm in Caroline.

Ran away.
--$10 Reward.--My servant girl, James, ran away from my residence, on City, between 2d and 32 streets, on Monday, Jan. 19th.
Said negro is about 5 feet 2 or 3 inches high, dark gingerbread color, full face, rather stout in form, and about 19 or 20 years of age. Jane's probably lurking about with her relations on Church Hill, or trying to make her escape to Charles City county, to her former home, Jno. W Bradley's, and from thence to Williamsburg.
She may be detached in some country cart driven by negroes going to Charles City county.
