Evening session. The Senate met at 7 ¾ o'clock, Lieut. Gov. Montague in the chair. Mr. Johnson offered a resolution, proposing that the resolution passed by the Senate to-day requiring night sessions, shall not tad to adjourn. Ayes and noes demanded — ayes 13, noes 16--quorum. The question then recurring on the adoption of Mr.Johnson's resolution, Mr. Coghill opposed the resolution, and thought it actually necessary that the Senate should hold night sessions, in order to dispatch the business now before the Senate.
