McDowell, A Hurdfe, L. Cotogui, V. Clark, N. Pizzini, L. Purcell. The first crown were composed of full blown and variegated roses and other fly pieces sung and played by the pupils. The execution in all was excellent, and did the highest credit to both scholars and teachers. A vocal duet, by Misses L. Northrop and M. Baratta, was heard with much pleasure, and was sweetly sung. "La Jeune Martyre," by Miss M. Barrett, was one of the best solos sung during the psical talent, and was awarded a first class premium for her proficiency in vocal music. We would also mention a beautiful instrumental trio, performed by Misses Northrop, Samanni and Baratts, a very sweet instrumental solo by Miss Betti Horner, and a grand instrumental duet by Misses L. McCarr, B. Horner M. Bassett, and K. Wal
