Serious accident.
--We were informed yesterday that a very painful accident occurred last Friday night at the camp of the Howitzers, at Gloucester Point.
By the accidental discharge of a pistol in the hands of a fellow member, a ball was fired into the breast of Mr. Thomas Pollard, who, at last accounts, was in a very critical condition.
