Neighborly. --A Cincinnati paper threatens us with invasion under the pretext of aiding Western Virginia to resist the East. They do not seem to know in Cincinnati that the West had a majority of the State Convention, which sanctioned the Ordinance of Secession almost unanimously. The Cincinnatians are very obliging, but they will find that the people of Virginia are competent to manage their own affairs--Wheeling Union.
Harrisburg. April 28 --There is general rejoicing here over the new requisition, the rejected volunteers being exceedingly glad. Commissary General Irwin will leave for Pittsburgh to-night, to establish a military camp. Troops will be collected there to protect the frontier of the southwestern counties, if necessary, and also to protect the Union men of the north western counties of Virginia. The war enthusiasm continues as great as ever Clearfield county, containing 4,000 voters, has 400 men ready to march, and offers a whole regiment. One thousand regulars are at Carlisle Barracks. Six hundred horses have been already purchased to mount cavalry formerly of Texas.--They will move during the coming week. Five regiments at Camp Curtin will be ready to move at a moment's warning. The Governor of Ohio is moving two regiments on Wheeling, one on Parkersburg, and one at Guyandotte and Point Pleasant, to protect the Union men of Western Virginia.
