Damages recovered from a Railroad Company. --Mrs. Sarah Vandever has recovered $2,500 damages from the Pennsylvania Railroad Company for causing, as was alleged, the death of her husband. It appears he was a passenger on the train in 1857, and being somewhat intoxicated, refused to show his ticket. Arriving at a station, the train stopped, and in putting him out, he fell, from the effects of which he died. Mrs. Vandever alleged that his death was caused by the negligence of an agent ofhe death of her husband.
