Mr. Brent again appealed to Mr. Conrad to withdraw his name, and he consented; but it was renewed by Mr. Stuart, of Doddridge. Mr. Moore, of Rockbridge, nominated Hon. Geo. W. Summers, of the county of Kanawha. Mr. Summers asked him to withdraw the nomination, and it was done.
