Bills Passed.--A bill authorizing the Norfolk and Petersburg Railroad Company to construct a branch of their road to some point on the North Carolina line, and to increase the capital stock; and a bill for the relief of Charity Casey. A bill to incorporate the Valley Railroad Company was taken up, when Mr. Paxton offered a substitute. The bill was opposed by several members, and finally laid upon the table. A bill for the relief of Ro. W. Handley was rejected. On motion of Mr. Thomas, of Fairfax, the Senate adjourned.
