The captured brig Monticello. --The brig Monticello, from Rio de Janeiro for this port, laden with coffee, was captured by the Confederates on the same day of the capture of the St. Nicholas, and taken up the Rappahannock river to Fredericksburg, where her cargo was discharged. In consequence of the brig being owned in Baltimore, the Confederates released her, and she dropped down to Manassas landing, seven miles above Urbana, to take in ballast, preparatory to coming to this port. On Saturday night last four fugitive slaves boarded the Federal gun-boat Daylight, at the month of the Rappahannock, and informed the commander where the brig was, and of her intentions to go out. The Daylight at once proceeded to the landing and the brig was seized and taken to Old Point. What disposition will be made of her has not transpired--Baltimore Sun.
