--The fends in the republican party of this State are daily increasing both in bitterness and extent.
Divided, as it is, between the conservative and abolition factions, the fight is becoming decidedly spicy.
Thus low Weed leads the conservative wing and Mayor Ordyke and Collector Barney the abolition.
Both factions are marshaling their forces for a severe contest, with a fair prospect that one or the other will soon "die in the inst.
ditch" As soon as Congress adjourns a bold and determined effort will be made to remove Collector Barney from the Custom House, and fill his place with a person from the conservative ranks.
