--About the 30th ult Governor Moore, of La., accompanied by Generals Taylor and Pratt, lest the Terre Bonne station, on the Opelouses and New Orleans Railroad, with about a thousand men — parts of Bisland's and Vick's regiments — to break up an encampment of the enemy at Boutte Station, on the same road, twenty four miles from New Orleans.
The expedition was successful, and the result was sixty Yankees killed, one hundred and forty prisoners, and five pieces of artillery taken.
