Several deserters from the enemy have just come into our lines, and relate startling stories of the sufferings of the rebel troops for clothes, and even food. Killed and wounded. --Full and accurate lists of the killed, wounded, and a losing in the cavalry, artillery, and infantry of the Army of Northern Virginia, in the recent engagements with Meade's army, are now at the Army Intelligence Office, over the Virginia Bank.
Operations of Mosby. On Tuesday last Mosby, with his gallant band, made another dash upon the Yankees, and went within a mile of Meade's headquarters. He killed three of the enemy, wounded several others, captured thirty-six Yankees, some eighteen or twenty negroes, and one hundred and thirty horses and mules. At the time the attack was made the enemy was on the march, and were taken completely by surprise. Mosby did not sustain the loss of a single man.
