The spirit of Nashville. --The Nashville correspondent of the Louisville Democrat says: so sure as Grant and Buell are defeated, and have to pass through Nashville in retreat, "just so sure will every house have a concealed weapon — every woman will glut her revenge in murder" The same writer says it is possible to convince the people there that the South will be defeated at Corluth. The citizens remain firm and true to the cause of the Confederacy.
