Kerkides
Wedge-shaped section formed by the series of radial staircases placed at intervals, which rose from the orchestra to the outside boundary of the theater building. Description: Kerkides were crossed latitudinally by the diazomata. It is the front row in each kerkis that contained the seats of honor for the priests and the officials, the prohedria.
