Vestīni
A Sabellian people in Central Italy, lying between the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea, and
separated from Picenum by the river Matrinus, and from the Marrucini by the river Aternus.
They were conquered by the Romans in B.C. 328, and from this time appear as the allies of Rome
(
B. C. i. 39, 52).
