ὀχυ^ρός , ά, όν, (ἔχω ἐχυρός,
A.firm, lasting, stout, of wood, Hes.Op. 429 (Sup.); of persons, “διθρόνου Διόθεν . . τιμῆς ὀχυρὸν ζεῦγος ἈτρείδαινA.Ag.44 (anap.): but elsewh. A. uses ἐχυρός (q. v.).
