I.that which corrupts, a corrupting, corruption, seduction, bribery, etc.
I. Prop. (freq. and class. in sing. and plur.): “mores hac (sc. cantūs) dulcedine corruptelaque depravati,” Cic. Leg. 2, 15, 38: “collapsus est hic in corruptelam suam,” Plaut. Truc. 3, 2, 3: “quem (adulescentulum) corruptelarum illecebris irretisses,” Cic. Cat. 1, 6, 13: “stupra dico et corruptelas et adulteria,” id. Tusc. 4, 35, 75; cf. Suet.
