TALIA

TALIA (Itin. Ant. p. 218), or TALIATA (Not. Imp.), erroneously called Τανάτις by Ptolemy (3.9.4), Tabata by the Geogr. Rav. (4.7), and Faliata in the Tab. Peut. A place in Upper Moesia, between Novae and Egeta. Variously identified with Tatalia, Gögerdsinlik, and a place near Alt Porecs.
