TUGIA

TUGIA a town of the Oretani, in Hispania Tarraconensis. (Plin. Nat. 3.3. s. 4; Itin. Ant. p. 404.) Its site is marked by some ruins at Toya, near Quesada, at the sources of the Guadalquivir. (Cf. Florez, Esp. Sagr. v. pp. 24, 34; D'Anville, Geogr. Anc. i. p. 34.)
