Menede'mus

3. A friend and attendant of Lucullus, who was thought to have saved the life of that general during the war against Mithridates, by refusing to admit a Scythian chief named Olthacus into the tent where Lucullus was sleeping. (Plut. Luc. 16; Appian. Mithr. 79.)
