أَثَم U ( n. ac. أَثْم 1 ),

a. Regarded as a sinner ( God ).

أَثِمَ A ( n. ac. إِِثْم 2 , أَثَم 4 , مَأْثَم 17 ),

a. Sinned; committed a crime, did that which is unlawful.

أَثَّمَ II ,

a. Accused of crime, of wrong-doing.

آثَمَ IV ,

a. Caused to fall into sin, crime, led astray.

a. [ Min ], Abstained from sin.

a. Sin, crime; fault, offence.
