حَمِدَ A ( n. ac. حَمْد 1 , مَحْمَدَة 17t )

a. [ acc. & Ala ], Praised, thanked for.

حَمَّدَ II ,

a. Praised, magnified, glorified, lauded ( God ).

أَحْمَدَ IV ,

a. Merited, deserved praise, was praiseworthy.

b. Praised, commended; approved of, liked.

تَحَمَّدَ V

a. [ Bi & 'Ala ], Was kindly disposed to; bestowed upon.

تَحَاْمَدَ VI ,

a. Praised one another.

حَمْد 1 ,

a. Praise, glory honour.

b. Worthy, deserving of praise; praiseworthy, laudable.

حُمَدَة 9t ,

a. see 28 .

مَحْمَدَة 17t , مَحْمِدَة 18t , ( pl. مَحَاْمِدُ 44 ),

a. Praiseworthy action &c.
