Theatre.
--The comedy of ‘"Self"’ will be repeated to-night, and we can only reiterate what we said of it yesterday.
We shall endeavor to give an opinion of the performance hereafter.
Miss Bateman has certainly established a good reputation here, and the most exacting critics concede to her the prominent qualities which go to make up a first-class actress.
We hope that all who are disposed to make the ‘"first person, singular number,"’ the paramount consideration in life, and who always look out for Number One without a thought for another, will go straightway to the Theatre and witness the performance of ‘"Self. "’ Everybody else should go, also; for it is a ‘"satisfying"’ play in every respect.
