οἰνό-πεδος , ον (η, ον Opp. C.4.331),
A.with soil fit to produce wine, abounding in wine, “ἀνὰ γουνὸν ἀλωῆς οἰνοπέδοιο” Od.1.193, cf. 11.193 ; productive of wine, -πέδῃσι φυτηκομίῃσι μεμηλώς Opp.l.c.
II. Subst. οἰνό-πεδον , τό, vineyard, “τέμενος . . , τὸ μὲν ἥμισυ οἰνοπέδοιο” Il.9.579, cf. Thgn.892, Theoc.24.130, Plu.2.604c, prob. for οἰκ- in SIG1000.8 (Cos):—also οἰνο-πέδη , ἡ, AP11.409 (Gaet.).
