I.a region in Hispania Tarraconensis, where the vine was cultivated, Ep. Pompei ad Senat. 5; Sall. Hist. Fragm. 2, 96, 5 Dietsch; Mart. 1, 50, 22.— Hence, Lălētānus , a, um, adj., of or belonging to Laletania, Laletanian: “vina,Plin. 14, 6, 8, § 71.—Plur.: Lălētāni , ōrum, m., inhabitants of Laletania, Laletanians, Plin. 3, 3, 4, § 21 (dub.; al. Lacetani).
