Felix
Antonius. Procurator of Judaea, in the reigns of
Claudius and Nero. He induced Drusilla, wife of Azizus, king of Emesa, to leave her husband;
and she was still living with Felix in A.D. 60, when St. Paul preached before him
“of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come.” He was recalled in
A.D. 62.
