Κανάκη). The daughter of Aeolus and Enareté,
and mistress of Poseidon, by whom she had several children. She entertained
an unnatural passion for her brother Macareus, and was punished by her father with death, or,
according to another version, committed suicide with Macareus. See Apollod. i.7.3;
