Arge'lius

wrote a work on the Ionic temple of Aesculapius, of which he was said to have been the architect. He also wrote on the proportions of the Corinthian order (de Synmmetriis Corinthiis). His time is unknown. (Vitruv. vii. praef. § 12.)

In the article on Soranus, we find: "at this present time (1848)" and this date seems to reflect the dates of works cited. 1873 - probably the printing date.
