Cilla
(
*Ki/lla), a daughter of Laomedon and Placia or Leucippe, and a sister of Priam.
At the time when Hecabe was pregnant with Paris, the seer Aesacus declared that mother and child must be put to death in order to avert a great calamity; but Priam, who referred this prophetic declaration to Cilla and her son Menippus by Thymoetus, made them suffer instead of Hecabe and Paris. (
Apollod. 3.12.8; Tzetz.
ad Lycoph. 224.)
