Perseides
or PERSEIUS (
Περσείδης, Περσηϊάδης, Περσεῖος, or
Περσήϊος), a patronvylic of Perseus, used to designate his descendants. (
Hom. Il. 19.123;
Thuc. 1.9.)
But it is also used to designate the descendants of Perse, viz. Aeetes and Hecate. (

6.495.)
