Presentation of a flag to the Choctaw and Chickasaw Regiment.

--The Indians of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Regiment, at Camp Cooper, Indian Territory, have been made the recipients of a beautiful flag, the workmanship of several ladies of Tishomingo.--The presentation was accompanied by an address from one of the fair donors, Miss Nancy A. McCarty. The reply of the Adjutant of the regiment closes with the following sentiments:

‘ Your words--"victory or death"--shall be our "battle cry, " and shall be emblazoned on this, our banner, and as we strike for our country and our rights, we will think of the fair donors, and strike again and again for their protection and safety, and for the happiness and prosperity of all the beautiful daughters of the sunny South.

’ ‘ "Long brave the breeze.
The standards of the free."

until Liberty, free and untrammeled, shall illumine the entire South, and its spirit roll onwards until the dome of Heaven shall echo the shouts of an emancipated world.
