Alleged highway robbery.

--Patrick Jacobs is to be examined before the Mayor to-day, for an alleged highway robbery, (stealing David H. Strom's watch, on 17th street,) for which he has heretofore been brought before his Honor. The case was laid over until to-day, Jacobs desiring to summon a witness deemed material in his defence.
