General Hill.

A few days ago, in the list of confirmations Brigadier Generals, by the Senate, the name of A. P. Hall was given. This was It should have been Col. Ambrose Hill. of the 13th Virginia regiment. Gen Hill is a native of Culpeper county. and a graduate of West Point. Having reigned his commission some time before war, he offered his services to the Governor, and was sent to Parkersburg He has since been in the service of the State.
