The Medical College.

--Brief mention was made in Saturday's paper of the commencement exercises of the Medical College of Virginia, held at the African Church on the previous night, and the admirable address of Professor Wellford upon the occasion. We omitted to state that the Medical Prize of $50 was awarded to Dr. John E Lockridge, of Augusta county, Va, for an essay on Diphtheria; and the Surgical Prize, of a like amount, to Dr C. Wesley Thomas, of Richmond, for an essay on Agents. The degree of M. D. was conferred upon forty six graduates, whose names and places of residence are appended;
