Stabbing.

--Edward P. Carroll, charged with the felonious stabbing and cutting of Geo. Taylor, on the 6th inst., appeared before the Mayor last Saturday for examination, but owing to the critical condition of the wounded man, whose life was well nigh despaired of by his attending surgeon, the examination was postponed.
