The Lace Randolph Fairfax.

A sketch of the life of Randolph Fairfax, " Rev. Philip Staughter, has been published in pamphlet form, and is an eloquent and feeling tribute to one of the purest and most gifted, and gallant of the young heroes of the rank and file of the Confederate Army. We would wish that admirable production were in the hands of every soldier in the army. Its influence for good would be immense. If would place a model before the private soldiers of one of themselves, one whose character elicited from Gen. Lee a testimonial, which, in the language of a comrade, a stranger would regard centuries hence, as in itself a Patent of Nobility, and which could not but inspire others to deeds of virtue, fortitude and heroism.
