Special notice.

--If parties having claims against Government for value of Slaves impressed by, or hired to, the Confederate authorities, which have died or escaped to the enemy while engaged in labor upon the defences, or other public works, or which have contracted diseases or received injuries while so engaged (resulting fatally after discharge), will send such claims to this office by the 1st of May, they may be sent by safe private hand to Augusta, Georgia, where the Slave-Claim Board will resume its sessions.
