Th.378; “πολλοῖς μὲν ἵπποις, μυρίοις δ᾽ ὅπλοις β.E.Ph.113; δεινὰ β. τινί against one, Id.HF962; of a mob, A.Eu. 978 (lyr.); murmur, grumble, “ χαμηλὰ πνέων ἄφαντον β.Pi.P.11.30; wail, in Med., “βλαχαὶ βρέμονταιA.Th.350 (lyr.); but also of music, “λύρα βρέμεται καὶ ἀοιδάPi.N.11.7; “λιγὺ λωτὸς βρέμωνPae.Delph.12; “φθέγμα μηχανῇ βρέμονS.Ichn.278: c. acc., “λωτὸς ὅταν ἱερὰ παίγματα βρέμῃE.Ba.161 (lyr.).
