Look out for him.

--A man calling himself C. R. Davenport, about five feet three inches high, and weighs about one hundred and seventy-five or eighty pounds, with heavy moustache, slow spoken, is passing through our country horse trading, or proposing to sell bacon, and says he is from Louisville, Ky. He has been brought up before the Vigilance Committee of Ninety- Six, S. C., for expressing Abolition sentiments, and gave only partial satisfaction. He is thought to be a suspicious character.--Barnwell (S. C.) Sentinel.
