--Some of the most distinguished engineers in France are said to have approved a plan for a railway from Paris to Marseilles by which the journey, which now consumes eighteen hours, may be made in one hour and a half. The distance in five hundred and ten miles. The plan, being the hydraulic system, in which sliding is substituted for running on wheels, has been submitted to the Emperor for his approbasion.
