The Charges against Capt. Alexander.

--Brief allusion was made in our paper yesterday morning of the arrest of Capt. G. W. Alexander, for malfeasance in office. Since then we have learned that this officer has been charged with an extensive trade in green backs, and that he is also charged with accepting heavy bribes from prisoners (both Confederate and Federal) upon the promise of interceding for their release. A man named Bendix, it appears, has been acting as a kind of agent in the matter for Alexander. It is said that by this means Mr. A. has amassed a large amount of money.
