Redel houses, farms and Plantations.
--The Knoxville Whig states that its notorious editor, W. G. Brownlow, has been placed in charge of the houses and farms of all who have abandoned them in East Tennessee, and come in our lines.
He advertises to the effect that he is prepared to lease or rent them where the military authorities have not got them in charge.
An order from the Secretary of War, signed "E. D. Townsend, A. A. G," gives Brownlow every power to infringe upon the rights of Souditor, W. G. Brownlow, has been placed in charge of the houses and farms of all who have abandoned them in East Tennessee, and come in our lines.
He advertises to the effect that he is prepared to lease or rent them where the military authorities have not got them in charge.
