Later from the North. Fredericksburg, Jan. 8. --The New York Herald and Philadelphia Inquirer, of the 6th, were received to-day by flag of truce. Rosecrans's official dispatch to the War Department gives an accounted the fight at Murfreesboro', which, he says, ended on Saturday in a total defeat of the rebel army, and their disorderly flight to Tullahoma. The fight was continuous from Tuesday to Saturday. He says that the Medical Director estimates the number of wounded in the ater in July than for the corresponding month of the part ten years.
