I.a very rocky promontory in Epirus, running out into the Ionian Sea, now Glossa, called by the Italians Linguetta (the mountain to which it belongs was called Ceraunii montes or Ceraunia; “see this art.): infamīs scopulos Acroceraunia,Hor.
