دَوْقَعَةٌ دوقعه دوقعة Poverty: and abasement, or abjectness: (S, K:) and calamity. (TA.) You say, in imprecating, رَمَاهُ ا@للّٰهُ بِالدَّوْقَعَةِ [May God afflict him with poverty: &c.]: (S:) or رماه اللّٰه فِى الدَّوْقَعَةِ [may God cast him into poverty: &c.]. (TA.)
