A.“ἐνίψω” Il.7.447: aor. ἠνίπα^πε [ι_] 2.245, al., also “ἐνένιπε” 15.546, al. (with vv. ll. ἐνένισπεν, ἐνένιπτεν, Od.18.321, Il.23.473):— Ep. Verb (once in A. (v. infr.)), reprove, upbraid, freq. with words added to strengthen the sense, “χαλεπῷ ἠνίπαπε μύθῳ” Il.2.245; “χαλεποῖσιν ὀνείδεσι θυμὸν ἔνιπτε” 3.438; “ἐνένιπεν ὀνειδείοις ἐπέεσσιν” Od.18.326; τὸν δ᾽ αἰσχρῶς ἐνένιπε ib.321, Il.23.473; or simply “πόσιν δ᾽ ἠνίπαπε μύθῳ” 3.427; κραδίην ἠνίπαπε μύθῳ reproved his soul with words, Od.20.17: without a modal word, εἴ τίς με καὶ ἄλλος ἐνίπτοι were another to attack me, Il.24.768; “τόν ῥ᾽ Ἕκτωρ ἐνένιπεν” 15.552, cf. 546; “καί τίς μ᾽ ἐνίπτων εἶπε” A.Ag.590: without acc., Od.18.78, cf. 24.161.
