A.hard to take in hand or manage, opp. εὐχερής:

3. of arguments, contradictory, captious, Pl.Prt.333d, D.20.113; τὰ δυσχερῆ difficulties in an argument or discussion, Arist.EN1145b6, Metaph.1067b35.
