A.food, bread-corn, “Διόνυσον ὄμπνῃ συντίθησιν” Sosith.2.11 (cj. Herm. for δαίνυσι τ᾽ ἔμπης, dub.) : in pl. ὄμπναι, cakes of meal and honey, sacrificial cakes, Call. Fr.123, 268 ; “πολυωπέας ὄμπνας” honeycombs, Nic.Al.450 (ὄμπας codd. opt. and Sch.). (The form ὄμπη is found in Nic. l.c., AB287, Hsch., Phot., EM625.52.)
