II. enfolding, embracing, “περιπτυχαῖσι δὴ χέρας προσαρμόσασαE.Supp.815 (lyr.); ἐν ἡλίου περιπτυχαῖς in all that the sun embraces, i.e.all the world, Id.Ion 1516.
